The administrative coordinator also oversees the general operation of technology within the learning environment. There are always going to be many occasions where a computer program will not function as it should, where a computer will not boot up properly, or where a download does not function as it should. In these cases, many teachers will have the necessary knowledge to straighten out the problem, but others will not. The technology coordinator will attend to their needs, and do everything possible to solve the problem.

In order to apply for a job as an administrative coordinator, you will need to be able to demonstrate a degree of familiarity with information technology systems and how they are used. There are courses available which can give you these skills, and many of them are available as online learning. It is also possible to carry out further learning once you have secured your first job as an administrative coordinator.
